Chemistry Stores

The Chemistry Stores sells Chemicals and Scientific Supplies to MTU faculty and students, and handles receiving of all shipment for the Chemistry Department; regardless if it is chemistry related or not. Eighty percent of the chemicals sold at the Chemistry Stores are for the Chemistry Department Research Labs and Teaching Labs. The Chemistry Stores also sells chemicals and lab equipment to faculty members and students in other departments at MTU.

Purchasing Chemicals at Chem Stores

Before purchasing chemicals, a person needs to create an account and obtain a customer card at the Chemistry Stores.
In order to obtain a customer card, students need prior authorization from a faculty member or department head.
Faculty members can contact the Chemistry Stores directly to open and account and obtain a customer card.
No chemicals or supplies are sold to individuals not affiliated with the university.
