Chemistry Stores

The Chemistry Stores sells Chemicals and Scientific Supplies to MTU faculty and students, and handles receiving of all shipment for the Chemistry Department; regardless if it is chemistry related or not. Eighty percent of the chemicals sold at the Chemistry Stores are for the Chemistry Department Research Labs and Teaching Labs. The Chemistry Stores also sells chemicals and lab equipment to faculty members and students in other departments at MTU.

Purchasing Chemicals at Chem Stores

Prior to purchasing items at Chemistry Stores, all users must have prior authorization.
Authorization is obtained by email(ddwareha@mtu.edu) or written letter. Authorization must includes individuals name, department and any account number(s) the person may be using to purchase items. Authorization on accounts may be given only by Department Heads, Department Coordinators or the Account Custodian.

No chemicals or supplies are sold to individuals not authorized or not affiliated with Michigan Technological University.
