Tenure-Track Position in Physical Chemistry Available

The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a tenure-track position, preferably at the
Assistant Professor level, in experimental physical chemistry beginning Fall 2008. We encourage
applications from candidates in all areas of experimental physical chemistry, to establish a
vigorous, nationally competitive, interdisciplinary research program complementing our existing
foci in nano-, bio-, or environmental chemistry, and excel in teaching both undergraduate and
graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) curricula. A Ph.D. degree in chemistry or related field is required;
postdoctoral experience is strongly preferred. Please submit a curriculum vitae, a short
description of future research interests, a statement of teaching philosophy, and a list of
equipment and estimated startup costs, and have three recommendation letters submitted directly.
