Gas Chromatograph
Shimadzu GC-2010 Gas Chromatograph.
The Chemistry Department acquired a Shimadzu GC-2010 Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer equipped with a 2010 Flame Ionization Detector. This new state-of-the-art chromatograph features the new third generation Advanced Flow Control (AFC) which enhances pressure and flow, hence reproducibility is improved greatly.
Oven ramp temperature rates up to 140°C/minute and pressures up to 970KPa make the GC-2010 a world-class leader in High Speed Gas Chromatography.
This instrument is used for research and for analytical chemistry teaching labs.
